Oxymora have always fascinated me.

Oxymoron-a rhetorical figure in which an epigrammatic effect is created by the conjunction or incongruous or contrary terms.

Ancient Greek : Oxus = "sharp"

Moros = "dull"

"Oxymoron" = a sharp dullness or a foolish wise.

...a self contradicting phrase.

Oxymoron is the singular form and oxymora is the plural form, despite the misuse of �oxymorons� as the plural form by those who should know better
