So I'm walking around campus and suddenly "pie jesu" pops in my head...this is a song that I sang back in select choir days...anyway, I had to look up the lyrics and English lyrics for old times sake.

And no it's not a pie...it's pronounced like "pee yay" and jesu is "yay zoo" just so we have no confusion.

Pie Jesu is Latin for Merciful Jesus
Qui tollis peccata mundi = Who takes away the sins of the world
Dona eis requiem = Grant them rest
Agnus Dei = Lamb of God
Dona eis requiem sempiternam = Grant them everlasting rest

It's really pretty in Latin though. I really just love how it sounds.
