We've all been worried about my Dad. I mean he can exaggerate about how much he's sick or hurts sometimes but lately we knew he was serious.
They thought he may have stomach cancer so we've all been worried about him and truthfully, he was actually scared.
He went for lots of tests today...various things were to be done.
The good news is...no stomach cancer!!!!! YAY!!!!!
But there was some not so great news...
to be exact...3 things.
1. His diabetes has messed with his digestive tract. Basically it's like it shuts off sometimes and just refuses to digest his food. :(
2. He has a hyena hernia or however you spell it. This is bad. He already had a hernia on the outside of his stomach, but this one is on the inside.
and 3. He had this thing removed from his colon today. I cant spell it but it's similar to a tumor and usually runs into cancer. They did remove it, but if they didnt, he could have gotten colon cancer!!! It's kinda scary to know that. They have to watch him a lot now for it.
So it's good news and bad news...take it how you may.
He's acting different though. It's like he had a rush with death and is now trying to be a better person.
Let's hope this good mood lasts :)

UPDATE: It's "hiatal hernia"..not a friggin' hyena. I always forget my dad talks like a hick..hahahaha. So he says "hyena" but it's really "hiatal" :)
